Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment

From the 1 April 2013 the North Lincolnshire Health and Wellbeing Board has a statutory responsibility to assess the needs for local pharmaceutical services, and produce a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA).

The PNA is used to make decisions on the services provided by local community pharmacies, and informs decisions about whether new pharmacies are needed. North Lincolnshire Health and Wellbeing Board has a legal requirement to publish a new PNA by the 1 April 2015. The PNA will inform the services commissioned by the local authority and NHS England.
